This policy explains what TryThisTime (“we”, “us”) collects when you use the TryThisTime web application at app.trythistime.com (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: privacy@trythistime.com.
Information we collect
- Access requests — the name, email, company, social handles and description you send when requesting an account, used only to review the request and reply to you.
- Account information — your name, email address and password (stored as a one-way hash), your role in a workspace, and sign-in records (time, IP address, browser) used for security.
- Workspace content — offers, campaigns, scripts, captions, images, audio and video you create or that the Service generates for you, settings, approvals and the audit log of actions taken in your workspace.
- Connected account data — when you connect a third-party account (for example TikTok, Instagram or an affiliate network) we receive access tokens and the data described below. Tokens and API credentials are encrypted at rest and are never shown back in the interface.
- Tracking and performance data — clicks on tracking links we generate (time, coarse location derived from IP, device type, referrer), and conversions, commissions and payouts reported by affiliate networks.
TikTok data
If you connect a TikTok account, with your permission we access:
- Basic profile (
user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar, so you can see which account is connected. - Publishing (
video.publish,video.upload): to post the videos you confirm to your account, with the caption, privacy, interaction and content-disclosure settings you choose for each post, and to show you the post's status.
We do not sell TikTok data, use it for advertising, or share it with other users or workspaces. Nothing is posted to your TikTok account unless a member of your workspace confirms that specific post and its settings. You can disconnect TikTok at any time in Settings → Social Accounts; we then delete the stored tokens. You can also revoke access in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: finding offers, generating and rendering content, publishing it to your connected accounts, and reporting results.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and keep an audit trail of changes.
- To send service emails, such as invitations and the notifications you turn on.
Content generation uses AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Google and Anthropic) and media providers (such as ElevenLabs) acting as our processors. We send them only what is needed to produce the requested content (such as offer details, scripts and captions), never your account credentials.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that run the Service for us (cloud hosting and storage on Google Cloud, email delivery via Resend, DNS and edge services via Cloudflare, and the AI and media providers above), with the third-party platforms you connect when you ask us to act on them, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep workspace data while your workspace is active. Billing, accounting and security (audit) records are retained as long as needed for accounting, legal and security purposes. You can disconnect accounts and delete content at any time; to delete your account or workspace, email privacy@trythistime.com and we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law. Step-by-step instructions are on our data deletion page.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and credentials are encrypted at rest. Access inside a workspace is limited by role, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at the address above and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
The Service is for businesses and adult creators. It is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post updates on this page and change the date above. For material changes we will notify workspace owners by email.
